"Horses willingly and generously give us everything they have: Their lives, their labor, their talent, their affection, their companionship.
They ask for only one thing in return: Our protection. When horses are at risk of abandonment or worse, we owe it to them to provide a
safe refuge and warm welcome. The Kentucky Equine Humane Center is that refuge."

Doing the Right Thing, One Horse at a Time.
At the Kentucky Equine Humane Center, Inc. (KyEHC) our goal is to find loving homes for all of the equines placed in our program. Because we are committed to ensuring the well-being of all of our equines; Horses, mules and donkeys adopted from KyEHC cannot be sold, given away or used for breeding.
